There was a tiny but very visible problem: sometimes the bio block image and the real avatar didn't match.
That broke something important: the sense of a consistent identity.
Now we've fixed it.
What happens from now on
The bio block image works as a mirror of the owner's avatar:
- on main profiles, the user's
- on sub-sites, the corresponding sub-site's
If you update one, the other updates too.
Why it matters
It might seem like a visual detail, but it isn't.
When someone lands on your huevsite they need to quickly understand that everything belongs to the same system:
- the profile photo
- the header
- the cover that appears first
- the image they see while navigating between your pages
If those pieces contradict each other, the sense of order and professionalism drops.
Fewer manual mismatches
Before, it was possible that:
- you changed the image from edit profile
- the bio block stayed old
- or you edited the block and the avatar didn't follow
Now that logic is unified.
That means:
- less manual maintenance
- fewer visual errors
- fewer "half-broken" profiles after a change
It applies to sub-sites too
This point was important.
Sub-sites no longer feel like disconnected pages: they also respect that same visual logic. If the sub-site has its own image, the main block follows. If you change the block, the sub-site avatar aligns.
A small improvement that tidies everything up
The best improvements aren't always the loudest.
Sometimes they're the ones that make the product feel more solid, more coherent and less fragile.
When the bio block and the avatar speak the same language, the whole page looks more polished.
