For a long time the feed showed activity, but it had no clear place to say "I finished this, check it out." That changes today: we're launching Builders Hunt, a Product-Hunt-style weekly launch feed, but built for the community.
How it works
- From your dashboard, in the Projects tab, you tap "Launch on huevsite".
- Your project enters this week's feed.
- The community upvotes (▲, one vote per person), and launches rank live.
- On Monday a new week starts: the ranking resets and the previous week's #1 is marked with a trophy.
It's simple on purpose: you don't have to write a post or build anything new. If your project is already on your board, you launch it in two clicks.
The ranking
Each week launches are ordered by votes. Pro launches are featured at the top (accent border, pinned), then upvote count rules, and ties break by your real activity. You can navigate to past weeks with the arrows to see how each round ended.
And one detail that matters: at the top you see how many days are left until the week closes. If you want your launch in this ranking, you have a clear window.
Pro: schedule your launch
On the free plan you launch into the current week. If you're Pro, you can schedule your launch for a future week (great when you're coordinating a launch), you show up featured in the feed and first in the email.
The Friday recap
What you launch doesn't get lost: every Friday the weekly community roundup includes a launches of the week section with the final ranking, on X and in your inbox. Pro launches go first, with a big image.
/feed, /explore and /leaderboard, now one family
Builders Hunt doesn't live in isolation. We unified the discovery navigation: /feed, /explore and /leaderboard now share the same bar up top, so you jump between them without getting lost. And next to the feed we added a community panel: your launch, the Builder of the Week, the top builders and the network pulse (how many people moved this week, new projects, endorsements). By the way, /showcase now redirects to /leaderboard, so we don't have two rankings.
Why we did it
huevsite was always a network, not just another link-in-bio. Builders Hunt gives it a weekly heartbeat: a reason to come back on Monday, show what you finished, and discover what everyone else is launching. Building in public is nicer when someone's watching.
